The allergen kits can help to ensure that your baby gets exposed to the most common potential food allergens.

The kit which comes in a cooler bag with a booklet and contains the following:

• Allergenic foods: Tuna cubes, egg cubes, weet-bix, soymilk, almond butter, peanut butter (no salt, no sugar), cows milk and tahini.
• Low-allergenic foods: A pouch of butternut, oats and sweet potato cubes (400g each).

Allergenic foods can then be given on their own or combined with low allergenic foods that are included in the kit as appropriate.

PLEASE NOTE: Food allergens should be introduced at your own risk. Contact your health care professional if you are uncertain or if there is a history of food allergies in your family. This kit is only suitable for low-risk babies.
